At the November 5th event, twenty awards were
presented by the First Lady and David Lamarre-Vincent, Chair of the
Board of Directors at Volunteer NH! Recipients included:

Rebuilding Together- Greater Manchester
The event brought together interested citizens, volunteers and
representatives from business, education, government, faith
communities and national service initiatives.
Volunteer NH! is a 501 (c) 3 incorporated non-profit
organization established in 2000 by merging the NH Office of
Volunteerism, the Governor's Council on Volunteerism, and the
NH Commission for National and Community Service into a single
entity. Volunteer NH! is governed by a Board of Directors appointed
by the Governor and approved by the Executive Council. The
organization has three specific responsibilities:
- Promoting volunteerism and community service as a value in
the state
- Administering NH AmeriCorps grants and programs
- Providing training and education to state agencies,
non-profits, and corporations for their volunteer program
efforts
