Volunteer Recruitment Being successful at recruiting volunteers means being able to describe how each volunteer job relates to your organization’s mission. Volunteers are capable of great contributions and achievements - especially when they know that their efforts support goals they care about. According to their abilities, interests and experiences, volunteers can take on a wide variety of roles in an organization – from positions of leadership to direct service. One key to attracting and keeping good volunteers is the ability to connect with a broad base of potential volunteers and to then match interested candidates with roles that motivate and excite them. Volunteer NH! offers a web-based volunteer matching tool called Volunteer Solutions to help link potential volunteers with non-profit organizations recruiting for specific volunteer roles. Registering your organization is easy and you can add and update your volunteer opportunities at any time. Potential volunteers searching the database view your opportunities and contact you directly via email or phone for further information. Voluntary action centers are another great resource for help with volunteer recruitment.
