Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations. Using their training, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event and can take a more active role in preparing their community.
When emergencies happen, CERT members can give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community.
The CERT course is taught in the community by a trained team of first responders who have completed a CERT Train-the-Trainer course.

Brief Description: The Greater Franklin-Bristol Regional CERT program provides both logistical and human resource suppport to the 14 communities of the region. We are looking for additional volunteers of all backgrounds to join our regional team. We are currently utilized by our local police and fire officials to open shelters, provide traffic control, and provide general support at the reguest of the emergency management directors.

Brief Description: We have 100% backing by our supporting sponsor Goffstown PD.They strongly support the Citizen Corps/CERT programs.We are utilized in both emergency and non-emergency events.We also have an officer core and staff for day to day operations and emergency events.We have a Director,Logistic,Operations and Training Officers,as for staff we have a PIO,Administrative Assistant,Medical Coordinator,Lead Amateur Radio Operator and 6 team leaders.By having this combo no one person is overrun with work.

Brief Description: Columbia's Citizen Corps mission is: to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make Columbia safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues and disasters of all kinds. Brief Description: Londonderry CERT/ALERT is a group of highly trained volunteers. Our core is Search and Rescue as directed by LFD or LPD, but train and respond for a variety of emergencies. Our ongoing and evolving training reflects what the Londonderry Police and Fire departments utilize us for. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Brief Description: Our CERTeam serves 9 towns and works closely with each of the local police and Fire Departments. Our monthly trainings are most often provided by our emergency responders. This shared training has fostered an interdependency that works well in our communities. We have 28 active members. We are unique in that one of our local fire departments gave us an old ambulance that we gutted and rebuilt (our CERT mobile) to hold the equipment needed to respond to nearly any situation.
